about

Distinctively LGE, these five tracks stand out for their rounded perfection and re-invention of a certain kind of early 90s techno minimalism - our favourite kind!

ABOUT LIFTING GEAR ENGINEER

LGE's debut album Brain Holiday was released in the UK in 2005. The first Machine Records album release to be distributed by Shellshock, Brain Holiday features 'Cables pt. 1' and 'Rainly Mainly', both heard on Radio 1 and Radio Wales. Since then he's released a slew of follow-up albums including Jumble Heads (2007), See In the Dark (2012) and Testing (2015).

Rob Morgan started recording as LIFTING GEAR ENGINEER in July 2002 and quickly scored a track on the 2003 Boobytrap compilation A Step In The Left Direction, regular airplay on Adam Walton's BBC Wales show, as well as a live session on Bethan Elfyn and Huw Stephens' Radio 1 show and support slots for the likes of dDamage, Mira Calyx, and the legendary Mike Paradinas.
